Evelyn, where do we start, you are one in a million and we appreciate everything you did for us to get us through such a heartache of a time.
My Dad passed away last week and we had no idea what to do or even where to begin. Evelyn was recommended to us by Leura memorial gardens. She came in to our home, spent sometime with the family to get to know dad and his life from start to finish. She was extremely compassionate and guided us through one of the hardest times of our lives. It was like she had known us and Dad for years.
She is one of a kind ..the service she did for Dad was heartfelt and memorable. She went above and beyond to make it perfect for the family. We all felt she was like part of the family. Evelyn, we thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for your professionalism, kindness, compassion and empathy for what we were going through. The whole family is more than grateful.

Evelyn was recommended to us from the Springwood funeral service to undertake the service of our mother Gloria Summerell. Evelyn contacted my father two days prior to the Service scheduled date, to arrange a time to sit down with us to get a history of Gloria’s life.
We found Evelyn to be very professional, but also compassionate during this trying time for us. Evelyn also prompted us about Gloria’s life and events which could be noted during the service. Evelyn also asked us if anyone would wanting to make speeches at the service and if there wasn’t she would read testimonials for us. We wrote down what we wanted read during the service, as this was a very sad time for us all.
A schedule of the proceedings was emailed to us by Evelyn, so we knew what was going to happen on the day. On the day of the service Evelyn arrived early to ensure everything was ready to commence on time, as we were in a Covid restricted environment we used Zoom videoing as we were limited to 10 guests attending the funeral service.
Everything went very well, we were very impressed with the overall professionalism of Evelyn and the way the service was undertaken. We would highly recommend Evelyn to anyone who needs a professional, caring celebrant to undertake a funeral service.
